The Hallagenna Good Pub Guide and Dining Out!

Dining out opportunities in Cornwall are plentiful with the traditional pubs tucked away in little Cornish villages and many restaurants in the nearby towns.
Just a few are listed below:-

The Old Inn in St Breward (1/2 mile away)
11th Century pub with fantastic 'Les Routiers' food and roaring log fires - child friendly - you can even order your food over the phone, collect it and take it back to your cottage!

The Blisland Inn in Blisland
Just 2 miles away, it is a traditional pub with a good bar menu.

The Cornish Arms at Pendoggett - good reputation for food - close to Port Isaac - child friendly - very atmospheric

The Port Gaverne Inn - located in a real old smugglers cove and next to Port Isaac, this Inn has been renowned for it's fish dishes for decades!

The Maltsters Arms - fantastic fish menu - book in advance for the restaurant - in the very picturesque village of Chapel Amble

The Molesworth Arms
– Established Coaching Inn found in Wadebridge.

The Ship Inn – A pub found in Wadebridge with a cosy atmoshphere and an excellent bar and restaurant menu.

The Earl of St Vincent
– Quaint village pub with excellent menu, and unique collection of clocks on display.

The Quarryman – Found just outside Wadebridge, it has an excellent reputation for food with lots of interesting and unusual memorabilia on the walls.

There is a wealth of other places to eat not listed here such as Thai, Chinese and Indian restaurants, not forgetting the many traditional British restaurants situated in nearby towns.
